4.6.2.1 Setting up a profile.
1. To view profiles, on the Network Performance screen (Figure 4-11), type 1 and press
Enter. The Profiles screen (Figure 4-15) opens.
2. To edit a profile, type E and press Enter. Press the Space bar to select a Profile and press
Enter. The Profile Setup screen (Figure 4-16) opens.
3. To add a profile, type A and press Enter.
4. Enter the appropriate information for each field up to and including the PM Profile
Setup and SAM Profile Setup options then press Enter.
NOTE: Fields 9 and 10 will not appear on devices that do not support CPM.
5. To enter Latency and Jitter information, type 7 and press Enter to open the PM Profile
Setup screen. Follow the prompts to complete this window. For example, to enter Latency
information type 9 and press Enter. Type I then press Enter. Enter a value for the
Latency Bucket, for example, 200 then press Enter.
6. Press Esc to return to the previous screen.
The properties on the Profiles Set Up screen are:
1. Name is a free-format field that can be used to identify the profile. Typically it is the name
given to the service offering.
2. Description is a 20-character free-format field used for any purpose to help identify the
Profile.
