8. Unavailability (Cu) FLR Threshold (1-100%) measures the percentage of unavailability

in the threshold. The relative values of Cu need to be constrained so that the value of Cu
is greater than the value of Ca. This is necessary to avoid undesirable behavior of the
availability test results. Default is 0.

9. Purge SAM Result Records lets you delete History and Active Records. Each SAM

category of records (History and Active) is displayed.

4.6.3 Test Addresses

The Addresses screen (Figure 4-21) displays the IP Address, VLAN ID, Description, Profile
Name and State of each Address. From this screen you can create additional Test Addresses,
Edit, Insert, Delete Test Addresses, or move about the list. The order in which Test Addresses
are stored is also the order in which they are used during performance tests. The maximum
number of test addresses for a device is shown in Figure 4-20.

Note that:

IP Address 0.0.00 is not valid and cannot be enabled.

An Address cannot be enabled unless a valid Profile name is assigned.

When a profile is deleted, all addresses referencing the profile will be assigned automati-

cally by the NIDF, a null or blank profile.

A test can be disabled by:

Disabling a specific address

Disabling a profile (this disables all addresses that references the disabled profile)

Disabling the Scheduler.
