1-6 Getting Started
The module uses four status indicators to report its operating status.
They can be viewed on the 1203-EN1 enclosure cover. See
Figure 1.2 .

If all status indicators are off, the module is not receiving power. Refer to Chapter 2 ,
Installing the Module , for instructions on installing the module.

Description

PORT Green Normal Operation. The module is properly connected and is
communicating with the drive.

MOD Green Normal Operation. The module is operational and is
transferring I/O data.
Flashing
Green Normal Operation. The module is operational but is not
transferring I/O data.

NET A Green Normal Operation. The module is properly connected and
communicating on the network.
Flashing
Green Normal Operation. The module is properly connected but
does not have an I/O or Explicit Messaging connection.

NET B Flashing
Green Normal Operation. The module is properly connected and is
transmitting data packets on the network.
Off Normal Operation. The module is not transmitting data
packets.
