CD Recording
Operation

CD program playback and tape recording
start simultaneously due to the system's
synchronized start function. The selection
at the end of the tale does not break
abruptly in the middle, but fades out

automatically.

Insert a blank tape in deck B.

Set DIRECTION MODE.

To record one side, set to =.
To record both sides, set to

CD.

Set DOLBY NR.

To use the DOLBY NR system, set to В
or C.
Otherwise, set to OFF.

Press CD on the function selector on

the amplifier.

Place the disc with the label side up,

and close the tray.

6 Press CD SYNCHRO.

The CD player and cassette deck enter
the pause mode.

Press

[>

to record on the front side or

on both sides. Press <l to record
only on the reverse side.

8 Press PAUSE on the cassette deck.

The CD play and recording start
simultaneously.

Note
When the tab on the cassette has been removed,
the CD SYNCHRO button does not operate.

Is it possible to listen to program
sources other than CD during CD
recording?
No. If you press another function selector,
the CD play stops and the program of the
pressed button will be recorded.

Is it possible to adjust the sound quality

for CD recording?

Yes. You can record the sound adjusted by
graphic equalizer and surround effect.
