The CD player automatically edits the
selections on a CD according to the tape

length.

Perform 1 to 5 of the “CD recording

operation" on page 62.

Press EDIT

Make sure that EDIT and appear in

the display.

Designate the tape length of one side

using and -4^, or PM and M4.
As you press ►► or the minute
display changes as follows;

As you press WH or the seconds
increase or decrease by 10. After 50,
the seconds show 00 and the minutes
increase by 1.

Press EDIT.

The selections to be recorded are
determined automatically. For details,
see below.
Then the display shows Q the last
selection to be recorded, Q total playing
time, and Q selections to be recorded.

For recording both sides, press EDIT

again.

6 Press CD SYNCHRO.

Press t> to record on the front side or

on both sides. Press <1 to record only
on the reverse side.

8 Press PAUSE of the cassette deck.

The recording starts.
