Inactivate Button
Click this button to start the inactivation process.
The program automatically backs up the database before any updates occur and places
the backup in the Backups folder. The backup name follows the form:
purge.mmddyy.#.mdb. (# is a sequence number that starts at 1 and increments each time
Purge is run, thereby creating a unique backup).
The status bar will display the program progress as it processes each record type. The
record type checkbox will also be highlighted. When completed, the program will display
a pop up screen showing the inactivate statistics.
View Log Button
Click this button to view the Purge log. Statistics and other important information are
written to a log file and placed in the Logs folder. The log file name follows the form:
purge.mmddyy.log.
Help Button
Click this button to view this help topic.
Quit Button
Click this button to quit the purge utility.
