1. Press SEL to turn off the SEL light.

2. The paper should remain at the Tear-Off Position.

3. Press the SHIFT button and hold it in.

4. Using the Micro Feed Up/Down buttons, adjust the paper until the desired Tear-

Off Position is reached.

5. When it is in the correct position, you can now release the SHIFT button and the

paper should stay in the correct Tear-Off Position.

Setting Top of Form with Auto Tear-Off turned off

1. Press SEL to turn off the SEL light.

2. The paper should stay at the Top of Form position. (If the paper is at the tear off

position - Auto Tear-Off is on. See the section for setting Top of Form with
Tear-Off turned on, or refer to the printer manual on how to turn off the Auto
Tear-Off feature.)

3. Press the SHIFT button and hold it in.

4. Using the Micro Feed Up/Down buttons, adjust the paper until the desired Top

Of Form position is reached.

5. When it is in the correct position, you can now release the SHIFT button; the

paper should stay in the correct Top of Form Position.

Setting the Tear-Off Position with Auto Tear-Off turned off

NOTE: Make sure the top plastic cover is in place before setting Auto Tear-Off. The
Printer will not adjust far enough down to tear off using the plastic paper guide just above
the print head.

1. Press SEL to turn off the SEL light.

2. Press the TEAR button and hold it in. (If the paper does not go to the Tear-Off

Position, then Auto Tear-Off is turned on.)

3. Using another finger, press and hold in the SHIFT button.

4. You may now release the TEAR button and the paper should stay at the Tear-

Off Position.

5. Using the Micro Feed Up/Down buttons, adjust the paper until the desired Tear-

Off Position is reached.

6. When it is in the correct position, you can now release the SHIFT button and the

paper will return to the Top of Form position.

7. If you wish to check the Tear-Off Position, press TEAR and the printer should

go to the Tear-Off Position and will remain at the Tear-Off position until
printing resumes.
