Okidata ML 320 Turbo

How to tell if the Auto Tear-Off feature is turned on

1. Press the SEL button to turn the SEL light off.

2. Wait several seconds then press the SEL button to turn the SEL light back on.

3. If the paper moves to Top of Form, then back to the Tear-Off Position when the

SEL light is turned on, then Auto Tear-Off is turned on.

4. If the paper does not move when the SEL light is turned on, Auto Tear-Off is

turned off.

Setting Top of Form with the Auto Tear-Off feature turned on

1. Press SEL to turn off the SEL light.

2. The paper should stay in the Tear-Off position. (If the paper is not in the tear off

position - Auto Tear-Off is not on. See the section for setting Top of Form with
Tear-Off turned off, or refer to the printer manual on how to turn on the Auto
Tear-Off feature)

3. Press TEAR button and hold it in. (The paper should move to the Top of Form.)

4. With another finger push the SHIFT button and hold it in.

5. Let go of the TEAR button and the paper should stay at the Top of Form as long

as the SHIFT button is held in.

6. Using the Micro Feed Up/Down buttons, adjust the paper to the desired Top of

Form position

7. When it is in the correct position, release the SHIFT button, the paper should

return to the Tear-Off position.

8. To check the Top of Form, press the TEAR button, the printer should go to the

Top of Form.

NOTE: Make sure the top plastic cover is in place before setting Auto Tear-Off. The
Printer will not adjust far enough down to tear off using the plastic paper guide just above
the print head.
