Miter Angle (Miter Cut Only) (Figure 6-47)

1. Miter Angle Up Button – Increases the angle of the miter angle by one increment. The maximum value

is defined by an internal value.

2. Miter Angle Value – This is the value of the miter angle in degrees. The miter angle is defined in degrees

from the zero position, or more simply, the angle away from a straight cut. A miter with a zero degree
miter angle would be perpendicular (a right angle) to the centerline of the pipe and parallel to the end of
the pipe. By default the angle tips away from the machine as the angle gets larger. Selecting a drop side
cut instead of a work side cut reverses this orientation to an angle that tips back toward the base of the
machine.

3. Miter Angle Down Button – Decreases the angle of the miter angle by one increment. The minimum

value is defined by an internal value.

4. Back Button – Go to the previous cut selection screen.
5. Next Button – Go to the next cut selection screen.
