1. Current Input Fuse

The multimeter uses two kinds of fuses for input protections of small and large
current ranges. The internal fuse of the multimeter provides 10 A maximum
input protection for the large current range and when the input current exceeds
13.5 A, the fuse will blow out; while the current input fuse at the rear panel of
the instrument provides 500 mA maximum input protection for the small current
range and when the input current exceeds 650 mA, the fuse will blow out. The
large current input fuse has been installed when the instrument left factory. To
replace the small current fuse, please:

1) Turn off the multimeter and remove the power

cord.

2) Turn the fuse seat counterclockwise as shown in the

figure using a straight screw driver and then pull
out the fuse seat.
