Paper Transport Problems

Vertical blanks

The drum cartridge is not installed
correctly.

Reinstall the drum cartridge.

The drum cartridge, transfer roller, or
fuser unit is old or damaged.

Check the condition of the drum cartridge,
transfer roller and fuser unit, and replace as
necessary.

Slanted printing

The paper guides in the paper tray or
multi purpose tray are not set
correctly.

Reset the paper guides in the paper tray or

Remove the jammed paper. Also, inspect the
inside of the printer and thoroughly remove any
tape or adhesive stuck to the rollers and other
components along the paper path.
