Main Disassembly
1. With the unit resting on the Output Shaft (Pinion) (1A),
remove the eight Bolts (17), four Shoulder Bolts (18) and
four Lock Washers (19) from the Input Cover (6).
2. Thread either 1/2-13 UNC eye bolts or motor mounting
Bolts (29) into threaded holes in Input Cover (6) and pull
Input Cover (6) off on the main assembly.
3. Remove O-ring (5) from between Input Cover (6) and
Ring Gear (4).
4. Remove Thrust Washer (8) from end of Sun Gear (13).
5. Remove Sun Gear (13).
6. Remove Thrust Washers (16) and Thrust Bearing (15)
from between Input Cover (6) and Carrier (3A) Subas-
sembly.
7. Remove Ring Gear (4) from Housing (1G).
8. Remove O-ring (5) from between Ring Gear (4) and
Housing (1G).
9. Remove Carrier (3A) Subassembly.
10. Remove Thrust Washers (16) and Thrust Bearing (15)
from between Carrier (3A) Subassembly and Internal
Gear (2).
11. Remove Internal Gear (2).
