5.2.4 Basic Ethernet Mode
The communication module can be operated in the "Basic Ethernet Mode" for a basic parameter
setting provided that the following applies:
1. Operation of the module with network address  239.
• IP address: 192.168.100.[Node ID]
• see
Node address setting ( 35)
2. Operation with real time POWERLINK must not be carried out.
3. No integration of a Managing Node (node ID  240) into the standard Ethernet network.

Note!
Operation in the "Basic Ethernet Mode" does not permit any real-time communication.
