Configuring MST Properties Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the CLI commands for configuring MST
properties in the MSTP Properties pages.

spanning-tree mst

Enters MST Configuration mode.
spanning-tree mst max-hops
hop-count
no spanning-tree mst max-
hops
Configures the number of hops in an MST
region before the BDPU is discarded and the
port information is aged out (in Global
Configuration mode).
Use the no form of this command to restore
the default configuration.
name string
no name
Sets the MSTP region name.
Use the no form of this command to restore
the default setting.
revision value
no revision
Defines the MST configuration revision
number.
Use the no form of this command to restore
the default configuration.
exit
Exits the MST region configuration mode
after applying configuration changes.
show {current|pending}
Displays the current or pending MST region
configuration.
show spanning tree mst-
configuration
Displays the MSTP configuration.
