2 Enter the fields:

Show VLAN — Check one of the possible options:

VLAN ID — Check VLAN ID, and select a VLAN ID to view.

VLAN Name — Check VLAN Name, and select a VLAN ID to

view.

VLAN Name (0-32 Characters) — Enter a new VLAN name.

Status — The VLAN type. Possible values are:

Dynamic — The VLAN was dynamically created through GVRP.

Static — The VLAN is user-defined.

Authentication Not Required — Enable/disable authentication on

the VLAN.

3 To define a new VLAN, click ADD, and enter the fields. The fields in this

page are described above.

Defining VLAN Membership Using CLI Commands

The following table summarizes the CLI commands for defining VLAN

membership as displayed in the VLAN Membership pages.

Description

vlan database

Enters the VLAN configuration mode.

vlan {vlan-range}[name vlan-

name]

no vlan vlan-range

Creates a VLAN.
Use the no form of this command to

restore the default configuration or

delete a VLAN.

name string

no name

Adds a name to a VLAN.
Use the no form of this command to

remove the VLAN name.

dot1x auth-not-req

no dot1x auth-not-req

Enables unauthorized devices access to

the VLAN.
Use the no form of this command to

disable access to the VLAN.
