Displays the status and parameters of the Spanning Tree Protocol.

Modes

EXEC mode

Description

Use this command to display the status and parameters of the Spanning Tree Protocol. It includes
the port roles and port states. The following describes the port roles and states:

Port roles—root port, designated port, alternate port and backup port.

Port states—discarding, learning, and forwarding.

Port types—edge port (PortFast), point-to-point, and shared port.
