Measurement response time

The measurement response time can be calculated with the following formula.

• Distance mode:

Measurement response time = Average measurement time + Update cycle (T5) +

Internal processing time (T1)

• Profile mode:

Measurement response time = Averaging response time + Average measurement time

+ Update cycle (T5) + Internal processing time (T1)

“Timing Details” (page 7-13) for average measurement time, update cycle (T5), and internal processing

time (T1).

Power ON reset time

This is a period of time taken to start measurement after turning on the power.

• Power ON reset time = approx. 10 sec.

The update cycle of the screen display of the microscope image and measured value differs depending on the

scan settings.
