The other setup functions are described in Section 5.5, but usually are not necessary for a quick
start into 6000
UPG operations. Press Esc to exit the setup menu. The cursor will return to the
menu bar.
ECOWATCH FOR WINDOWS
No setup is required for this program after installation. Use the “Help” command in the top menu
bar to learn about the program.
2.6 SONDE SOFTWARE SETUP
There are two sets of software at work within the 6000
UPG
system. One is resident in your PC
(called PC6000) and was provided on floppy disk with this instruction manual. The other software
is resident in the sonde itself. When you select Sonde from the PC6000 top-line menu, the PC based
software, begins direct communication with the sonde based software via standard VT100 terminal
emulation.
Using the arrow keys, highlight and select Sonde from the top-line menu. The sonde Main menu
will be displayed.
