Select this option to upload data from the sonde's flash disk memory to a software program other
than PC6000. Data is uploaded in comma & " " delimited format directly to the specified disk drive
of your computer. This data format is ideal for importing into most spreadsheet software and
allows you to perform custom data analysis. A comma is still the delimiter, but the radix is
corrected to a period. In most cases, you should set the Page Length to “0” before using this type of
upload format. See section 4.5 for details.

Select this option to upload data from the sonde's flash disk memory to a software program other
than PC6000. Data is uploaded in standard ASCII Text format directly to the specified disk drive of
your computer.

After you have selected one of these three upload formats, a list of files currently stored on flash
disk memory will be displayed. At the bottom of the list, the following prompt will be displayed.

Input the number of the file which you wish to upload to your computer software and press Enter.
The following prompt questions will appear.

If you wish to upload the entire file, press Enter at each prompt. The complete file will begin
uploading automatically and a box will appear on the screen showing the progress of the upload.

If you wish to upload only a portion of the file, enter the start and stop dates and times which
correctly define the portion of the file you wish to upload. Press Enter after each date or time. The
upload will begin automatically when all dates and times have been entered. A box will appear on
the screen showing the progress of the upload.

Select this option to cause the most recent flash disk file to be uploaded in its entirety to the
specified disk drive of your computer. The transfer of data can be carried out in the same three
formats applicable to the Upload option described above.
