Select this option to verify that the entire flash disk memory system is working properly. As with
the Format Flash Disk command this option also IRREVERSIBLY removes all files from flash disk
memory. After this option is selected, the flash disk will be formatted, written to, and confirmed.
During each process, prompts will appear on the screen to inform you of the progress of the
procedure.

To find out how much flash disk space is still available, select STATUS from the sonde Main
menu.

NOTE: Use caution when choosing the Test Flash Disk option, since all data will be lost once the
procedure has begun. However, calibration and setup information will not be erased.

4.4 STATUS

Select 4. Status from the sonde Main menu to obtain general information about the sonde and its
setup. The battery voltage and available flash disk memory are also displayed. If an unattended
sample is in progress, all the preset unattended sampling information (such as start time and date,
duration etc.) will also be displayed. This information is helpful in making choices about changing
batteries and/or formatting the flash disk prior to a new unattended sampling application or during
an ongoing study.
