NOTE: The operation and appearance of all CrossPoint 450 Plus, CrossPoint Ultra, and

MAV Plus switchers are very similar. Exceptions:

The video selection button is labeled “RGBHV” on the CrossPoint models and
“Video” on the MAV Plus switchers.

The MAV Plus switchers do not offer RGB delay switching.

The MAV Plus 248 A and MAV Plus 328A are in smaller enclosures than other
24-input and 32-input marix sizes. Unlike other switchers in small enclosures, they
have front panel Primary and Redundant Power Supply indicators.

Front Panel Controls and Indicators

The front panel controls (see figure 29 through figure 31) are in two sets. The input and
output buttons are on the left side of the control panel. The control buttons and video/audio
(I/O) selection buttons are on the right side of the panel.

NOTE: While the number of inputs and outputs varies depending on the size and

model of the matrix switcher, there are only three front panel arrangements: 12 input
buttons by 8 output buttons (see figure 29), 16 by 16 (see figure 30), and 32 by 32
(see figure 31). See

table 1

, on the next page, to identify the front panel arrangements

used by each switcher model.
On smaller matrix switchers, the larger-numbered buttons are not used for input
and output selection, although they are used to select and indicate preset numbers,
indicate the input audio level, and indicate the output audio volume.
