Allow running a batch if the instrument is not warmed up - Allows batches to run if the

instrument is not warmed up.

Allow running or saving a batch with expired reagents and fluids - Allows batches to

run with expired reagents and fluids.

Allow running a batch if XY temperature is not in range - Allows batches to run if the

XY temperature is not in range.

Allow running a batch if the instrument is not calibrated or verified - Allows batches to

run if the instrument is not calibrated.

Use Weighting as default option for quantitative analysis - Sets the weighting for

quantitative analysis to default to ON for new protocols.

Warn when saving/running a New Batch with New Protocol without saving the

Protocol and/or Standard and Control information -Opens a dialog box warning when
saving or running a new batch with a new protocol when you haven’t saved the protocol
and/or standard and control information.

Batch Settings

Analysis display decimal places - Type the number of digits the system displays. The

default number of digits is three.

Minimum bead count for obtaining results - Type any whole number from 0 to 1000000.

This is the minimum bead count that must be observed by the instrument for a particular
analyte before this data is used in statistical calculations and is displayed on the graphs
and results table. When set to a number greater than 0, the analyzer does not display data
for bead sets not generating events equal to or less than this value. Type 0 to display all
events. The default setting is 1.

Allow batches to be run or saved without lot number, expiration or manufacturer -

Allows saving lots without normal required information.

Default Batch Routines

Default Pre-Batch Routine - System maintenance routines like wash, flush, or clean

can be programmed at different points in a batch to prevent clog formation and
maintain peak system performance. Pre-batch routines, specifically, are
recommended for challenging sample matrices like viscous material or material
containing particulates in suspension because these matrices can clog the instrument.
Select this option to specify a particular routine to run before running a batch.

Default Post-Batch Routine - A Luminex Post-Batch routine automatically runs at

the end of each batch to clean the sample chamber and maintain peak system
performance. This cannot be deleted or modified and runs by default. However, you
can turn off this routine or use a different routine. Luminex recommends cleaning the
system with 0.1N NaOH.

Default Analysis Graph Axes

Log X Axis

Log Y Axis

Batch Thresholds - Displays the following options:

Low bead count detection

Detection Enabled - When this box is checked it enables low bead count detection.

• Well Count.

• Total Bead Count
