Option

Description

Communications

Configure the RIM-1000 to send Modbus requests to a specific slave
device over either a serial connection (EIA-232 or EIA-485) or over
TCP/IP. This configuration can be different for each slave unit.

Protocol

This option allows the RIM-1000 to send appropriate requests to each slave de-
vice. Refer to the documentation of the slave device for proper configuration.

The RIM-1000 supports the following communications protocols:
• Modbus Standard
• Modbus Extended
• JBus
• SNMP V1
• SNMP V2
• BACnet/IP

BACnet Destination
Network

If the device is on another network, specify the destination network here.

RTU Station
Address

Enter the address of the Modbus Slave device. Be sure this matches the address
programmed on the particular Slave device.

Enter a 0 to disable this functionality.
