3.4.22 BACnet

Use this page to allow a Building Management System (BMS) to poll the RIM-1000 inputs using the BACnet protocol over LAN
connections. Options are at the top of the page; supported BACnet capabilities are at the bottom of the page. For further information, con-
sult the BACnet standard or your IT department.

If you wish to configure your RIM-1000 as a BACnet master or slave, you must first configure BACnet communications on this page.

Option

Description

BACnet Device
Name

Assign a name - up to 38 characters - to the unit for BACnet discovery and
integration. This is the name of the RIM-1000 as it will appear on the BACnet
network.

BACnet Device ID

Assign a unique identifier for this BACnet device, up to 30 characters.

BACnet Description

Add any additional details for the device, up to 38 characters.
