Joystick
NOTE: The Joystick page is not available in exacqVision Start.
The Joystick page allows you to configure any standard USB joystick to work with your exacqVision system.
1. Select a joystick from the Current Joystick drop-down list.
2. If the position control is drifting while the joystick is in its resting position, click Calibrate.
X/Y Axis (pan and tilt)
3. Move the X/Y Axis Sensitivity slider left to decrease position control sensitivity, or right to increase position
control sensitivity.
4. To invert the north and south movement of the camera or view, select Invert Y Axis.
5. Move the joystick to the desired starting position. Click Calibrate.
NOTE: If your joystick has a Point of View source, you can switch your joystick functionality from X/Y Axis to POV
in the Position Control Source box.
Z Axis (zoom)
6. Adjust the Z Axis Sensitivity slider left to decrease zoom sensitivity, or right to increase zoom sensitivity.
7. To invert the zoom direction, select Invert Z Axis.
8. Adjust the zoom on the camera (the box will turn green in the direction of zoom). Click Calibrate.
X Position (playback speed)
9. Adjust the X Position Sensitivity slider left to decrease sensitivity, or right to increase sensitivity.
10. To invert the X Position direction, select Invert X Position.
11. Adjust the X Position (the box will turn green in the direction selected). Click Calibrate.
Buttons
12. Program the joystick buttons by selecting associated actions (variable among joysticks) from the drop-down lists.
13. Click Apply to save the joystick settings.
