Introduction
This manual describes the following Ethernet Interfaces for the Series 90 PLC:
ƒ Series 90-30 PLC TCP/IP Ethernet Interface (IC693CMM321)
ƒ Series 90-30 PLC CPU364 with embedded TCP/IP Ethernet Interface (IC693CPU364)
ƒ Series 90-30 PLC CPU374 with embedded TCP/IP Ethernet Interface (IC693CPU374)
ƒ Series 90-70 PLC TCP/IP Ethernet Interface (Type 2) (IC697CMM742)
The general term, Ethernet Interface, will be used in this manual except when differences in the
Interfaces require the more specific terms.
The Series 90-30 PLC CPU 364 and CPU374 are both modules that contain a PLC CPU and an
embedded Ethernet Interface. The general term Embedded Ethernet Interface will be used in this
manual to refer to these modules.
