Embedded RP allows the router to learn RP

destination address instead of the statically
configured RP.

IPv6 PIM SM

IPv6 PIM SM provides the Multicast IP Sparse

multicast groups. It is designed to efficiently
establish distribution trees across wide area
networks where multicast groups are thinly
populated across a large region.
