(secondary EXCTG)

In this column, the word changing appears when all journal
groups in an extended consistency group are being
registered.

The consistency time of an extended consistency group.
For example, if the consistency time is 10:00 a.m.,

C/T

secondary data volumes in the extended consistency group
are synchronized with the primary data volumes that were
available as of 10:00 a.m.

The consistency time is displayed in the following format:

month/date/year hour/minute/second

For the number of seconds, the number before and after
the decimal point appears.

In this column, the phrase Time is not consistent appears
if secondary volumes in active journal groups in the
extended consistency group do not have the same time
stamp. For example, when a new journal group is added
to the extended consistency group, Time is not consistent
appears if the time stamp of a secondary data volume in
this journal group is newer than the time stamp of
secondary data volumes in the existing journal groups.

Notes:

To maintain data update sequence, Universal Replicator

journal groups in Active status only. Universal Replicator
for Mainframe does not perform arbitration processing
on journal groups in Stop status.

There is no time stamp appears in this column for an
extended journal group containing journal groups, if

not issue any I/O request.

Underflow or Overflow appears in this column if an
invalid time stamp is detected. If Underflow appears,
the time stamp is below the allowable range. If Overflow
appears, the time stamp is above the allowable range.

The consistency time is valid only for the updates on
Universal Replicator for Mainframe pairs in Duplex
status. When the data of a Universal Replicator for
Mainframe pair that is in other than Duplex status is
updated, the consistency time is not assured. Therefore,
even if the journal group of a Universal Replicator for
