Before Using Spreadsheets
Remote Web Console is required for spreadsheets. Perform the following operations in Remote
Web Console before using spreadsheets in Universal Replicator for Mainframe:

Create master journal groups (see “Reviewing Administrator Tasks for Managing Journals”
(page 157) )

Register the secondary storage system (see “Setup Procedure (When More Than One Primary
and Secondary Storage System are Used)” (page 139) )
•
Create remote journal groups (see “Reviewing Administrator Tasks for Managing Journals”
(page 157) )
For detailed information about how to perform these operations in the Remote Web Console, see
“Configuring Storage Systems and Logical Paths” (page 137) and “Configuring Journal Groups”
(page 157) .
