XP Auto LUN
Except when the pair status is Pending or Duplex, you can specify the Universal Replicator for
Mainframe primary or secondary volumes as the source volumes of XP Auto LUN. On the contrary,
you cannot specify Universal Replicator for Mainframe data volumes and journal volumes as the
target volumes of XP Auto LUN. For further information on XP Auto LUN, see the HP

Compatible FlashCopy V2
Universal Replicator for Mainframe volumes can be assigned to the Compatible Flash Copy V2
relationship. To create the relationship with Compatible Flash Copy V2, specify the following
options:

DFSMSdss FCTOPPRCPRIMARY
•
TSO TGTPPRIM(YES)
•
ICKDSF TGTOKASPPRCPRIM(YES)
•
ANTRQST Macro TGTPPRIM(YES)
If above options are not specified to create the relationship of Compatible Flash Copy V2, change
the Universal Replicator for Mainframe pair status to Suspend. The relationship of Compatible Flash
Copy V2 cannot be created on the Universal Replicator for Mainframe P-VOL which is in the status
other than Suspend. While a copy is being processed by Compatible Flash Copy V2, depending
on the specified copy range, concordance rate of Universal Replicator for Mainframe pair may
be down.
