5. P100
Used wherever the counterparty is equipped with the required SW. When the line is
answered, a DTMF character is sent and the lift is identified. The call is either switched
to voice communication (alarm call) or confirmed automatically and terminated (check
call), as the case may be.
6. DTMF Protocol AutoDetection (CPC/P100)
Having received a DTMF string, the lift recognises the protocol used and responds
accordingly.
7,8,9. CPC (Antenna and KONE), P100 2N ext (for Alarm Calls
only)
The protocols work identically like for CPC (items 3 and 4) and P100 (item 5). The only
difference is that they transmit shaft numbers and audio unit types too. They are used
for alarm calls to the communicator only.
Warning
may have troubles detecting DTMF characters and recognising the
L8
protocol in places with a poor signal quality.
If such troubles occur, we recommend you to change the CPC/P100 (3/4)
settings.
