11.2.5.1 Set Access Level

In the Set Access Level option there are two user levels which can be set in CMS
IQ, Normal and Advanced. Neither access level has a factory set password.

Normal level allows users to run samples, view results and perform basic
operations with the CMS5000.

Advanced allows access to all user operations. This includes all normal user
functions plus method creation and editing, file deletion, changing alarm
parameters and changing network settings.

To restrict access to advanced functions, an advanced user password can be set.
Once the password is set, it must be entered each time the CMS IQ program is
opened, or whenever the access level is changed from normal to advanced. See

section 11.2.5.1.2, Setting or Changing the Access Level Password, on page
11-20
