Various standard concentrations must be prepared for the desired analytes.

After the standard(s) have been prepared, each concentration will be run
separately on the CMS5000 using the desired method. Each standard will have
its own separate run. The method used for the CMS5000 runs can be a default
method or a custom method created with the Method Editor.

NOTE: All method development must be made prior to running the standards

on the CMS5000. Refer to

Chapter 15, Method Editor

, for additional

information on method development.
