15.7.3 Use Default Directory

When checked, this selection will store all data files in the default directory. To
specify a different path, uncheck the Use Default Directory box and enter the
desired file pathway. See

Figure 15-29

.

If the Save Data to Removable Drive box is checked, data will be saved to a
removable drive (such as a USB drive). If unchecked, data will be saved directly to
the hard drive of the CMS5000.

15.7.4 Data Display

A Manual Response Y number can be entered, which will scale the Y-axis of the
chromatogram to the desired counts. If there is not a number in this section, the
response will automatically scale to the peaks with the largest count. See
