To adjust the carrier gas pressure, use the manual regulator on the argon tank.
Adjust the pressure by turning the valve on the tank clockwise or counter-clockwise
until the appropriate gauge reading is displayed. See
Figure 11-74 .

The Method Start Temp Tolerances are located at the top right of the window.
Changing the tolerances will increase or decrease the operating temperature range
of the displayed components. This will allow the CMS5000 to run over a narrower
or wider range of temperatures. See
Figure 11-75 .
