Program a 1769-HSC Module, CompactLogix Controller, and 845F Incremental Encoder with RSLogix 5000 Software Appendix B
7. Select the left-most I/O module in your 1769 CompactLogix chassis and
click OK.
The New Module dialog box appears.
8. In the Name box, type a name and click OK.
The module is added to the I/O Configuration.
9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 until all of your local I/O modules are added in
order from left to right.
In this example, the 1769-IF4 and 1769-HSC /B modules must be configured.
