Using the Function Menu

Use scaling to convert data from a controller to engineering units such as
gallons or psi. When scaling is disabled, the values are not converted. Refer
to the DTAM Programming Software Manual for a description of how values
are scaled. The scaling factor is determined by the application designer, it
cannot be changed by the operator.

To enable or disable scaling:

1. From the Function Menu, select Other.

6 Term

3 Clk/Cal

7 Test

4 Reset

8 Other

The Other Menu appears:

1 Simulate

5 Mastr C

2 BL / Int

6 Scale E

3 Contrast

7 Exit

4 Prn Scrn

2. Press [6] to select Scale Enable.

The scale enable screen appears:

Scale Enalbe ON(0)
”1” or ”Y” = ON
”0” or ”N” = OFF
ENTER = NC

Current Setting

3. Press [1] on the keypad to enable scaling or [0] to disable scaling.

You return to the Other Menu.

4. Press [7] to exit to the Function Menu.
