5.13.2 Remounting

c WARNING: Hazardous Voltage! Turn off all power sources to actuator before remounting
encoder assembly. Power sources may include main power.
If the actuator uses drive sleeve speed ID 1
or 2, ensure the optional encoder input gear
(#6-24) is installed on the encoder. Align
the three encoder mounting holes with the
matching holes in the actuator housing and
push the encoder straight on to the mounting
boss, carefully positioning the encoder to
ensure correct meshing with the encoder drive
cartridge pinion. If needed to align gearing,
declutch the actuator and turn handwheel
until the encoder gear engages with the drive
cartridge pinion). Fit the three M4 screws
(#1-36) and tighten using a 3 mm hex key. Do
not overtighten.
