NOTICE: The BBU is for use with the following Verilink IADs: 8216s, 8224s,
8316s, 8324s, 8512s, 8516s, and 8524s.
Shipment Contents
• The HPC BBU assembly without batteries. (Verilink has approved the Yuasa
NP12-18B or the Panasonic LC-X1220P batteries for this installation.)
• BBU cable for connection between the HPC IAD and the BBU
• Battery cables
NOTICE: Locate this device in a Restricted Access Location where access can be
gained only by service personnel or users who have been trained.
NOTICE: Deliver spent batteries to a recycling facility or ship to the
manufacturer in the replacement-battery packing material.
