MILLPWR can compensate
for machine tool wear
through its linear error com-
pensation (LEC) feature.
(refer to Setup).
Check each precision glass
scale and reading head for
proper installation. Check
that the mounting brackets
and fasteners are tight and
secure.
Perform the auto tuning pro-
cedures for both the X- and
Y-axes.
If auto tuning the system
does not correct the problem,
contact your ACU-RITE dis-
tributor.
Check that the proper dimen-
sions were entered for each
step of the program.
Check that the correct tool
information was entered for
each step of the program.
Measure the tool diameter to
check for tool wear.
Check that the correct scale
factor is being used.
