Select video and audio

: If necessary, press and release the RGBHV

(CrossPoint 450 Plus switchers) or Video (MAV Plus video switchers) button

and the Audio button.

Output mutes are protected when front panel

Lock mode 2 is selected. You

can view the mutes in

Lock mode 2 but you cannot change them from the front

panel. See “Setting the front panel Locks (

Executive modes)” on page 3-43.

If front panel

Lock mode 2 is selected and you try to perform steps 4 and 5, the

actions are ignored.

Mute the outputs

: One at a time, press and hold the Output 3 button and

then the Output 4 button for approximately 2 seconds until each button

begins to blink. The output 3 and output 4 signals are muted.

Green = Video is muted.
Red = Audio is muted.
Amber = Video and audio are muted. (Amber is visible only

after you have selected the Video and Audio buttons).

If RGBHV or video and audio are both selected, the mute action toggles both the

video and audio outputs. If either the video output or the audio output is already
muted, the unmuted output is muted and the muted output is unmuted.

If RGBHV or video and audio are both selected and only video is muted, the

output button flashes between green and amber. If only audio is selected, the
output button flashes between red and amber.
