QUIK-COMBO Therapy Electrodes

Connecting Therapy Electrodes

To connect QUIK-COMBO therapy electrodes to the QUIK-COMBO therapy cable:

1. Open the protective cover on the therapy cable connector (see Figure 6-2).

2. To insert the QUIK-COMBO electrode connector into the therapy cable connector, align the

arrows and press the connectors firmly together.

Replacing and Removing Therapy Electrodes

Replace adult QUIK-COMBO electrodes with new electrodes after one of the following occurs:

• 50 defibrillation shocks

• 24 hours on the patient’s skin

• 8 hours of continuous pacing

Replace pediatric QUIK-COMBO electrodes with new electrodes after one of the following occurs:

• 25 defibrillation shocks

• 24 hours on the patient’s skin

• 8 hours of continuous pacing
