Syntax: clear mac vlan <vlan-id>
The <vlan-id> variable specifies the VLAN ID.
Clearing cluster VLAN-specific MAC entries
To clear cluster VLAN-specific MAC entries, enter a command such as the following.
BigIron RX# clear mac cluster TOR 1 vlan 1 local
Syntax: clear mac cluster <cluster-id> | <cluster-name> vlan <vlan-id> [local | remote]
The <cluster-id> variable specifies the cluster ID.
The <cluster-name> variable specifies the cluster name.
The <vlan-id> variable specifies the VLAN ID.
The local option clears the MAC entries that are learned locally.
The remote option clears the MAC entries that are learned through the MDUP message from the
peer.
Clearing cluster client VLAN-specific MAC entries
To clear cluster client VLAN-specific MAC entries in the system, enter a command such as the
following.
BigIron RX# clear mac cluster TOR 1 vlan 2 client client 1 local
Syntax: clear mac cluster <cluster-id> |<cluster-name> vlan <vlan-id> client <client-name> [local
| remote]
The <cluster-id> variable specifies the cluster ID.
The <cluster-name> variable specifies the cluster name.
The <vlan-id> variable specifies the VLAN ID.
The <client-name> variable specifies the client name.
The local option clears the MAC entries that are learned locally.
The remote option clears the MAC entries that are learned through the MDUP message from the
peer.
Clearing MDUP packets information
To clear the statistics of MDUP packets, enter the following command.
BigIron RX# clear mac mdup-stats
Syntax: clear mac mdup-stats
