WRITE_COMMUNITY_
STRING

The SNMP Write-Only Community String is like a
password. It is sent along with each SNMP
Set-Request and allows (or denies) access to a
device. The default value is "private". This is
applicable if the agent is configured to operate in
SNMPv1.

A human readable string representing the name of
the user. This is applicable if the agent is configured
to operate in SNMPv3.

CONTEXT_NAME

Text ID associated with the user, used by the SNMP
agent to provide different views. This is applicable if
the agent is configured to operate in SNMPv3.

AUTH_PROTOCOL

An indication of whether messages sent or received
on behalf of this user can be authenticated and if so,
which authentication protocol to use. The supported
values for this field are: usmNoAuthProtocol,
usmHMACMD5AuthProtocol, and
usmHMACSHAAuthProtocol. This is applicable if the
agent is configured to operate in SNMPv3.

The localized secret key used by the authentication
protocol for authenticating messages. This is

which privacy protocol to use. The current values for
this field are: usmNoPrivProtocol and
