Remove the low-tack tape from the rudder. Check the
operation of the rudder using the radio system. Adjust the
clevises so there is light tension on the cables when the
rudder is centered. Tighten the nut against the clevis, then
slide the silicone tube over the clevis to secure its location.

Retirer le ruban adhésif de masquage de la dérive. Vérifiez le

dérive est au neutre. Serrer l’écrou contre la chape, puis faire
glisser le petit tuyau silicone sur la chape pour sécuriser sa
position.
Togliere il nastro adesivo dal timone. Verificare i movimenti
del timone con il radiocomando. Regolare la lunghezza
delle squadrette in modo che il cavo sia in leggera tensione
quando il timone è centrato. Stringere i dadi contro le
forcelle e far scorrere il tubetto in silicone sulle forcelle per
evitare che si aprano.

Position the tiller arm on the bottom of the rudder, aligned
with the hinge line. Mark the location for the mounting
screws.

Use a pin vise and 1/16-inch (1.5 mm) drill bit to drill the
holes for the mounting screws.

Thread a mounting screw into each of the holes.

Remove the mounting screws. Apply a small amount of thin
CA to harden the threads made in the previous step.
