Device scan from Replication Manager

You can perform the following types of device scan operations (to acquire storage system
information) on mainframe-system storage from Replication Manager:

Defining a copy group from Replication Manager

You can define a copy group on mainframe-system storage from Replication Manager by using
the storage system information that is acquired by performing a device scan.

If Business Continuity Manager agents are running on other sites, you can distribute the created
configuration files to these sites.

Manipulating a copy group from Replication Manager

You can perform the following operations on a defined copy group from Replication Manager:

resync

: Resynchronizing the copy group

restore

: Reverse resynchronizing the copy group
