Automatic recognition of the
operating mode

From software version
2.0 onwards
starttec recognises whether
the wiring was performed
for multi−motor operation or
for reversal of the rotation
direction. For operation with
a pole−changing motor or
with motors < 250 W, the
operating mode must be
set manually in C0015.

1

Ignoring the automatic recognition
Operating mode = operation with
one motor or multi−motor operation

2

Ignoring the automatic recognition
Operating mode = reversal or
operation with pole−changing motor

This setting is essential
when operating with
motors < 250 W in the
operation mode
"reversal"! Otherwise,
the starttec may be
destroyed.
