Configuring the Option Module
Chapter 3
Setting the Subnet Mask
1.
Verify that
Device Parameter 05 - [Net Addr Sel] is set to “1”
(Parameters).
2.
Set the value of
Device Parameters 11 - [Subnet Cfg 1] through 14 -
[Subnet Cfg 4]
to the desired value for the subnet mask.
3.
Reset the option module; see
Resetting the Option Module on page 49
.
Setting the Gateway Address
1.
Verify that
Device Parameter 05 - [Net Addr Sel] is set to “1”
(Parameters).
2.
Set the value of
Device Parameters 15 - [Gateway Cfg 1] through 18 -
[Gateway Cfg 4]
to the IP address of the gateway device.
3.
Reset the option module; see
