1.10 Quick Start PC Configuration for Terminal
Operation
The following explanation assumes Windows 95/98 is installed and operational. Windows NT screens may
differ. Refer to the appropriate Windows NT manual.
Step 1 Power up your PC. When the main Windows screen displays, click on the Start icon.
Highlight
Programs > Accessories then click on the HyperTerminal. See Figure 1-9.

Step 2 The HyperTerminal program will open and prompt you to set up the terminal operation for the
9135 Two-Port or 9140 Four-Port Switch, as shown in Figure 1-9. Enter a name for the unit,
choose an icon for the connection and click OK.
