Install Menus Reference
Kayak Router Installation Menu
The Install - Router - Setup menu is used to setup your Kayak for control of
an external router system. In the Crosspoint Control pane the used serial
port, the router protocol type and additional router options can be selected.
In the Mnemonics Transfer pane the additional necessary serial port for the
source name transfer with Jupiter can be selected.

Selecting a Serial Port
Touch the Port x button in the Crosspoint Control pane to assign one of
the six (KayakDD) or eight (KayakHD) serial ports to the router control.
Note Kayak HD Port Setup Settings for Encore are RCL protocol, 38400 baud,
8 data bits, 1 stop bit, No parity, No flow control
Selecting Router Protocol
Touch the Select Type button in the Crosspoint Control pane to access
the Select Type sub-menu. In this menu page all supported router pro-
tocols are listed.
